THE SQUARE
This project, after a twelve-year-old effort, is now ripe for execution, and we have already obtained the necessary Planning Permissions (PUFF/678/12B) as well as the Building Permit (Β88/13).
The Square is located between the existing building of the Community Council and the Stas Paraskou School and includes parking for 32 vehicles, a small amphitheater, a children's playground, a bar, an outdoor area for artists as well as a multipurpose hall.
It also includes the upgrade of the main road whic passes through the old village (Eleftheriou Street) and leads to the Archaeological Site.With its conversion to pavement and the upgrade of the existing Ceramic studio, as well as the infrastructure we look forward to establishing it as a commercial and artistic road.

The project, due to the unfavourable economic situation of our area, will occur in three phases.
The first phase of the parking area at a cost of approximately €294.000. The conditions for tendering of bids for the construction of the project are being prepared and we expect to begin implementation before the end of 2016.
The second phase includes the completion of the Square and will be included in the budget of 2017.
Finally, the third phase for creating the multi-purpose hall next to the Church (a former restaurant) will be proposed in the budget of 2018.
The entire project will cost €1.500.000
